FindABid is committed to data minimization principles. We only collect the minimal technical information necessary to deliver software functionality:

Account Information: Email address, hashed authentication credentials, and user-selected display nickname.
Exchange Feed Preferences: Optional read-only public identifiers used solely for benchmarking WebSocket stream latency and orderbook synchronization. FindABid never requests or stores private trading keys or withdrawal permissions.
Usage Data: Technical logs, IP addresses, browser user-agents, and performance metrics collected solely for network security and DDoS mitigation.

Your data is processed strictly for the following operational objectives:

To synchronize orderbook data and calculate multi-exchange spreads in real time.
To dispatch requested price spread notifications to user-configured browser sessions.
To maintain system stability, optimize WebSocket feed throughput, and prevent unauthorized terminal misuse.
We NEVER sell, rent, monetize, or disclose personal data to third parties or advertising data brokers.

We deploy bank-grade cryptographic security measures to safeguard user information:

All data in transit is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / SSL).
Configurations and terminal tokens are encrypted at rest with strict hardware-level access controls.
Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 utilizing unique cryptographic salts.

Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and California retain full statutory rights over their personal information:

Right of Access: Request a complete export of stored personal data.
Right to Rectification: Modify or update your registered credentials at any time.
Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request immediate and irreversible deletion of your account and historical logs.
